Home/Security & Data Governance
Security and data governance.
Governed operational truth only means something if the governance is enforced. Access, scope and approval authority are enforced by the platform itself — not by convention, and not by trusting the interface.
Our approach
Operational data deserves deliberate governance.
FrontlineQSR is designed around controlled access, defined organizational scope, and governed operational information. Information moves through a review and approval process before becoming approved operational truth used by the platform.
Access is structured around organizational roles and responsibilities so users see the information appropriate to their scope. As FrontlineQSR grows, our security and governance practices will continue to mature alongside the organizations we serve.
Controlled access
People see the scope they are responsible for.
Access follows organizational scope
Role and scope are defined by the organization’s own structure, and access is enforced by the platform rather than by the interface.
Separation between organizations
Customer organizations are kept appropriately separated from one another.
Scope within an organization
Visibility is bounded by responsibility — store, district and region scope are respected.
Administrative boundaries
Customer administrators manage their own organization. They do not hold platform-level authority.
Governed review and approval
Approved operational truth is what the platform uses.
Submitted information enters a governed review process before it becomes approved operational truth. Only approved information is used to inform FrontlineQSR’s operational intelligence.
Approval governs performance
Performance and operational intelligence are driven by approved information. Information still moving through review is visible as workflow — it does not present itself as settled performance.
Approved information is protected
Once approved, operational information is not alterable by users without approval authority.
Approval responsibility varies by organization. FrontlineQSR enforces that approval happened — it does not dictate who in your business performs it. How governance works →
Protected surfaces
Application surfaces stay out of public search.
Application and authentication surfaces are excluded from search indexing, so customer-facing operational screens are not discoverable through public search.
